Nizhny Novgorod school students are invited to the "Future of Science" Summer Olympiad Movement School.

      The Vega Regional Center announces the start of registration for students in grades 7-11 for the summer Olympiad movement school "Future of Science," which will be held from August 18 to 30 at the Vega Educational Center, located at 35a Gagarin Avenue, Nizhny Novgorod, Switzerland Park. Participants are invited who have become awardees or winners of the municipal stage of the All-Russian School Olympiad (VsoSh) 2024-2025 academic year and who have scored at least 50% of the maximum possible result in their chosen field. "Preparation for the Olympiads should begin in the summer. It is important to study practices, questions, and answers that led to victories and high results, as well as analyze mistakes and shortcomings made in previous years. Participating in all-Russian Olympiads is not only about knowledge but also involves comprehensive training, including psychological and practical components," noted Mikhail Puchkov, Minister of Education and Science of the Nizhny Novgorod Region. The summer Olympiad school aims to prepare students for participation in all stages of VsoSh in natural sciences, mathematics, and linguistics. The training programs last from 12 to 36 hours, during which teachers will analyze the most difficult problems and help develop strategies for successful Olympiad participation. "We invite experienced trainers from various regions of Russia to work with our talented students. These mentors and teachers will be students from Moscow universities who have achieved high results in VsoSh, have repeatedly won and placed as prize-winners. Additionally, students will be taught how to properly submit appeals. They will be trained by current members of the VsoSh jury," said Irina Zinovieva, head of the Vega Regional Center. After completing the course, participants will have the opportunity to demonstrate their knowledge at a mini-Olympiad. All participants will receive a diploma for completing the summer school, and the Olympiad winners will receive prizes.
