CRTS announced the deadline for restoring the full route of tram No. 2.

      Nizhny Novgorod Tram Society No. 2 may resume running on the city circular route by the end of 2025. This information was provided by the Transport Systems Development Center (TSDC) in response to a user's question on social media.

      One resident inquired about when the full tram circle route would be reopened, as it currently operates in a shortened form. The TSDC explained that, according to information from LLC "Environmental Projects," the completion of repair works on the tram tracks is scheduled for the end of this year.

      However, the organization clarified that the timeline might shift due to additional factors affecting the progress of the work.

      "Please note that on some sections of the city circle, other projects are being implemented concurrently, including the construction of a terrace park in Pochaevsky Ravine and the rerouting of storm sewers. These processes may impact the completion timeframe for track replacements," the TSDC reported.

      Recall that Trams No. 2 and No. 27 have not been running in Nizhny Novgorod since May 16.
