Socially significant initiatives of the primary branches of "United Russia" have begun in the Nizhny Novgorod region.

      The Regional Council of primary branches of the United Russia party held a competition to support social initiatives called "Primary Good Deeds." More than 50 applications were submitted for the jury's review. Twelve projects from across the Nizhny Novgorod region became winners. Each initiative received financial support.

      "The first to start implementing their projects were branches in Navashino, Kstovo, and Arzamas. They have very different projects, but each idea will make a significant contribution to solving important social issues and improving the lives of residents in the region. I wish everyone productive work. It is very important that active and caring party members work at the local level. They are our main asset. Thanks to the primary branches, we have the opportunity for direct and effective dialogue with Nizhny Novgorod residents," noted Seyran Iskenderov, head of the regional council of primary branches of the United Russia party.

      Within the framework of the "City for the Village" cycle, six master classes on decorative and applied arts were held at the House of Culture in the village of Zaprudnoye. Children from the local kindergarten were able to learn various techniques. Master classes included: "Butterfly Bracelet," "Sun," "Cookie," "Smiley," "Birds," and "Butterfly."

      "Such events are very important for nurturing creative, initiative-taking citizens who can express themselves through art. Moreover, they create an atmosphere of unity and cohesion, allowing children and adults to communicate and share experiences. The conducted master classes highlight the importance of cultural work in villages and inspire further development of the creative potential of children and youth. This will undoubtedly form the basis for new traditions and values in society," commented Marina Kozlova, executive secretary of the local branch of the United Russia party in the Kstovo municipal district.

      Among the winners of the "Primary Good Deeds" competition is the project of the town of Arzamas, titled "Active Longevity: Leisure and Communication for the Elderly and People with Disabilities." The program provides opportunities for active leisure and social interaction.

      The first group visited the estate of Baron Zhomini. Members of the Veterans Council and people with disabilities from Microdistrict No. 1 in Arzamas participated in this exciting journey through the Gaginsky District. Participants noted the importance of preserving historical and cultural heritage for future generations.

      "Such events help our participants not only learn new things but also feel part of a large and friendly team. We will continue to develop the project and organize interesting events for our beneficiaries," said Natalya Klepikova, project author and chair of the local control commission of the local branch of the United Russia party in Arzamas.

      The project will be completed in early September. There are plans for two more trips: to the village of Khirino in Shatokinsky District and to Diveevo.

      One of the winning projects presented by Navashino party members is the sports festival "Give Youth." A bright celebration took place in Navashino on Youth Day. The program included a master class by the Council of the Firsts of the Local Branch of the Movement of the Firsts, a "Literary Quiz" area, a "Letter to a Soldier" campaign, a "Paw" campaign, sports activities, and family competitions.

      The implementation deadline for grants from the regional council of primary branches of the United Russia party is the end of 2025. Nine winners of the "Primary Good Deeds" competition are finishing their preparations and will start from August to December.

      Initiatives of primary organizations of the Nizhny Novgorod regional branch of "United Russia" are implemented within the framework of party projects: "Culture of the Small Homeland," "Strong Family," "Older Generation," and "United Country – Accessible Environment."
