Another traffic accident with a bus in the Nizhny Novgorod region: the driver is hospitalized

      Incidents A traffic accident involving a bus and a truck occurred in Lukoyanovsky District, Nizhny Novgorod Region, on July 29. This was reported by the regional State Traffic Safety Inspectorate.

      According to the agency, the accident happened at 8:20 on the 163rd kilometer of the Nizhny Novgorod - Saratov highway.

      The driver of the "Luidor" bus, born in 1955, did not yield the right of way while turning left at an uncontrolled intersection and collided with a Freightliner truck with a Kromhaut semi-trailer, driven by a man born in 1979.

      As a result of the accident, the bus driver sustained injuries and was hospitalized at Pochinkovskaya Central Regional Hospital. There were no passengers in the bus at the time of the accident, clarified the State Traffic Safety Inspectorate.

      GIBDD officers are conducting an investigation into the incident.

      Recall that on July 28 in Nizhny Novgorod on Orekhovskaya Street, a concrete mixer and a T-301 bus collided, which resulted in three passengers needing medical assistance.
