The sports complex on Rodionova in Nizhny Novgorod will begin construction in 2025.

      SportNIA "Nizhny Novgorod" - Sergey Bisheltov. Preparations for the construction of a sports and wellness complex on Rodionova Street are ongoing in Nizhny Novgorod. Currently, a building permit has been obtained, and work is underway to conclude an agreement with the general contractor. This was reported to NIA "Nizhny Novgorod" by the regional Ministry of Sports.

      Construction is planned to begin in 2025. The project is being implemented within the framework of a concession agreement.

      According to the conclusion of the state expertise, the construction cost will be 1.2 billion rubles. The financing is provided by the federal and regional budgets, as well as by the investor-concessionaire.

      To monitor the condition of the site, representatives of the concessionaire regularly visit the future construction site. During the last inspection, household waste — several bags — was found at the site and will soon be removed by the concessionaire.

      Security will be arranged at the site once construction work begins.

      Meanwhile, another sports and wellness complex continues to be built in the city — on Korablestroyitev Avenue in Sormovo. As noted by the Nizhny Novgorod Ministry of Sports, the readiness of this facility is currently 20%.

      It was previously reported that another sports complex is planned to be built in Nizhny Novgorod.
