      Incidents A former cadet of a military university paid nearly a million rubles for education after bailiffs threatened to seize his car.

      According to the UFSSP of Russia for the Nizhny Novgorod Region, during a joint raid with the State Auto Inspectorate in Kstovo, a Kia Rio was stopped, driven by a 27-year-old debtor. The court previously ordered him to repay 928 thousand rubles spent from the federal budget on his military and special training. The man was expelled from the university for refusing to continue his studies.

      The bailiff seized the vehicle and warned that if the debt was not paid within 10 days, the car would be sold to cover the debt.

      Faced with the threat of losing his car, the citizen paid off the full debt and also paid an enforcement fee of 65 thousand rubles.

      Afterward, all seizures and restrictions placed on the debtor's property were lifted.
