SBU agent caught red-handed in Nizhny Novgorod region (video)

      Russian FSB officers thwarted the activity of a Ukrainian Security Service agent operating in the Nizhny Novgorod region. This was reported by TASS, citing the FSB Public Relations Center. According to the agency, the man, recruited by Ukrainian special services in 2024, arrived in Russia to carry out tasks aimed against the country's security. In exchange for monetary reward, he agreed to cooperate and underwent training in methods of concealment, using messengers for communication, and handling explosive materials. At the time of his arrest, the suspect was organizing a stash. Explosive substances, parts of a drone, communication devices, and documents confirming his illegal activities were found and seized from him. Investigators of the FSB Department for the Nizhny Novgorod region initiated criminal cases against the man under articles on state treason and illegal acquisition, storage, and transportation of explosive substances and devices. The court chose a custodial measure of detention for him. As clarified by the FSB, the accused admitted guilt and is providing assistance to the investigation.
