Four Nizhny Novgorod metal producers are winners of the "Golden Bear Cub" award.

      Four manufacturers from Nizhny Novgorod became finalists of the national industry award in the field of children's goods and services, "Golden Bear Cub." The award is held annually with the support of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of Russia and the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia. The initiator is the Association of Children's Goods Industry Enterprises. This year, producers of "smart playgrounds," polymer lamps, playground equipment, furniture, children's games, and toys represented the Nizhny Novgorod region. "Currently, an important task for children's goods manufacturers is effective promotion of Russian brands in the market. Industry awards like 'Golden Bear Cub' help regional enterprises attract attention to their products and allow the professional community to identify leaders and set benchmarks for the entire industry," emphasized Maxim Cherkasov, Minister of Industry, Trade and Entrepreneurship of Nizhny Novgorod Region. The winners were selected based on the total points from public voting on the award website and evaluations by an expert council. The expert commission assessed nominees on key criteria such as innovation, efficiency, public recognition, social responsibility, and quality, as well as specific criteria depending on the nomination. Four out of five Nizhny Novgorod companies that applied for the award became prize winners: - LLC "TK Luminos" (manufacturer of polymer safety lighting, small architectural forms, and playground equipment) – 2nd place in the "Best Children's Playgrounds" category; - LLC "Furniture Factory 'Komod'" (furniture for educational institutions) – 3rd place in the "Best Children's Furniture" category; - LLC "Workshop 'Vozvudon'" (wooden toys) – 3rd place in the "Best Products for Moms and Babies" category; - LLC "Ne molchi" (children's wooden games and toys) – 3rd place in the "Best Educational Equipment and Teaching Aids" category. It is worth recalling that a children's goods manufacturing cluster was created in Nizhny Novgorod Region, consisting of over 80 producers of clothing, furniture, specialized hygiene products, and other goods for children. Participation in the cluster provides companies with additional support at regional and federal levels.
