About 100 entrepreneurship support infrastructure staff received advanced training at the "My Business" intensive school.

      Economy About 100 managers and staff of the entrepreneurship support infrastructure from all municipalities of the Nizhny Novgorod region participated in training during the annual "School-Intensive" course at the Sarov technopark. The event was organized by the regional "My Business" center in accordance with the goals and objectives of the federal project "Small and Medium Business" within the "Efficient and Competitive Economy" national project.

      Ministry of Industry, Trade, and Entrepreneurship of the Nizhny Novgorod region Maxim Cherkasov attended the event, along with experts from the Industrial and Entrepreneurial Development Corporation of the Nizhny Novgorod region, the Nizhny Novgorod Industry Development Fund, the Regional Microfinance Organization ("GosMFO"), the Ankudinovka technopark, the Regional Competency Center, the Scientific and Production Center for Unmanned Aerial Systems of the Nizhny Novgorod region, the "My Business" regional center, and leaders of the "My Business" centers from Ivanovo, Volgograd, and Pskov regions.

      Maxim Cherkasov noted that government support programs for business are constantly changing, so it is important that employees of the "My Business" branches are aware of all updates and operate with current information.

      "We regularly hold school-intensive events for managers and staff of the entrepreneurship support infrastructure in the municipalities of the region. These meetings are a great opportunity to familiarize specialists with the latest innovations, discuss common issues, and exchange experiences. During the strategic session, representatives of key regional support organizations, together with managers of the "My Business" branches, analyzed existing support tools, identified problem areas, and developed ways to solve them. All proposals will be considered and implemented within the "My Business" network to improve support effectiveness," said the minister.

      At the event, support infrastructure experts held a seminar titled "Support Measures for Entrepreneurs of the Nizhny Novgorod Region." Speakers presented tools for supporting high-tech businesses, financial products from the regional and federal Industry Development Funds, the regional microfinance organization ("GosMFO") and guarantee organizations, tools for informational coverage of the activities of the "My Business" centers, and showcased the activities of the Scientific and Production Center for Unmanned Aerial Systems. Additionally, participants attended training sessions on oratory skills, financial literacy, and self-presentation.

      Leaders of five regional "My Business" centers shared best practices for supporting entrepreneurship across various sectors:

      - Bolshoboldivsky branch – a fair of goods and services "Point of Attraction – Buy Bolshoye" and a business ideas fair. As part of the project, the branch organizes events to expand the client base of local entrepreneurs and fairs to identify the most demanded services;

      - Shatoksky branch – the "Young Entrepreneurs Club 'Business Alliance'" project. The program aims to involve 9th-10th grade students in entrepreneurial activities;

      - Kstovsky branch – the "Partnership for Sustainable Development" project. This is a set of programs aimed at expanding entrepreneurial competencies, networking, and developing charitable activities within the business community;

      - Chkalovsky branch – the "Social Certificate" project, under which service certificates from local entrepreneurs are bundled and provided as incentives to employees of local enterprises;

      - Borsky branch – practical assistance for entrepreneurs in applying for land plots on preferential terms using the GISOGD portal.

      According to Sarov mayor Alexey Safonov, an effective entrepreneurship support infrastructure is a key factor in the speed and quality of any business development.

      "The formation of a strong entrepreneurial community, accessibility of support measures, and the creation of additional services directly influence the opportunities that businesses can realize in our territories. We are glad that Sarov was chosen to host the school-intensive. The school allowed participants not only to work productively but also to exchange contacts and find like-minded colleagues for implementing complex projects. Sarov is always open to such promising initiatives," said Alexey Safonov.

      The work of entrepreneurship support centers in the region is overseen by a subordinate organization of the Ministry of Industry, Trade, and Entrepreneurship of the Nizhny Novgorod region – the Autonomous Non-Profit Organization "Industry and Entrepreneurship Development Corporation of the Nizhny Novgorod Region" (ANO "KRPPO NO").

      The "Efficient and Competitive Economy" national project, initiated by Russian President Vladimir Putin, is the key instrument for shaping a new growth model. It includes federal projects aimed at developing small and medium enterprises, increasing labor productivity, boosting investment activity, low-carbon development, and advancing the state statistics and forecasting system. One of the main objectives of the "Small and Medium Business" national project is to create conditions for easy startup and comfortable business operations. Support efforts in this area continue within the framework of the "Efficient and Competitive Economy" national project.
