At the intersection of two streets in Nizhny Novgorod, the tram tracks have been repaired.

      The work to update the tram tracks at the intersection of Belinsky and Kulibin streets in Nizhny Novgorod has been completed. Starting July 21, cars can pass through here without any restrictions — they were removed after the completion of repairs. This was reported by the press service of the Nizhny Novgorod Region government.

      The intersection repair began in early May. This section was the last on Belinsky Street where the tram lines had not been replaced yet. Now, the entire street has new track pavement, and the work is fully finished.

      This intersection had not undergone major repairs since 1999, and it was originally built in 1948. Over the years, the need for renewal became obvious: the intersection is important for both cars and public transportation. Contractors tried to organize the work to minimize inconvenience to residents.
