      Society In Nizhny Novgorod, construction of houses for resettlement from emergency housing continues. The construction of a house in the Sormovsky district, intended for the resettlement of dilapidated housing, was inspected by the mayor of Nizhny Novgorod, Yuri Shalabaev. He shared details about his visit to the site on his Telegram channel.

      In 2023, after an eight-year hiatus, the practice of building municipal houses for residents of emergency structures was resumed in the regional center.

      The house on Zaitseva Street is already highly finished. All 10 floors have been built, exterior and interior walls are being laid, windows are being installed, and engineering systems are being mounted. Roofing and finishing works have also begun. Some of the 189 future apartments are already being plastered.

      Additionally, two more multi-apartment municipal buildings are under construction in the Autozavodsky and Prioksky districts. Contractors are adhering to the schedule, and the new housing is planned to be completed by the end of this or early next year.

      City authorities expect that, as a result of the project, Nizhny Novgorod residents will receive 559 new apartments with finishing.

      It was previously reported that the resettlement project for citizens from dilapidated and emergency housing is being carried out within the framework of the national project "Infrastructure for Life."
