Nizhny Novgorod residents have submitted over 760 applications to participate in the fifth, jubilee season of the "Educational Flagships" project.

      The organizers of the fifth, anniversary season of the "Education Leaders" project on the presidential platform "Russia – Land of Opportunities" have summarized the interim results of the application campaign. To date, 760 educators and managers from the Nizhny Novgorod region have expressed their intention to participate in the project. In total, about 50,000 people from all regions of Russia and 18 countries worldwide have submitted applications.

      "Education Leaders" is a project uniting talented and caring individuals who develop education in Russia and change it every day: in schools, colleges, universities, on stage, in editorial offices, in management, and in life. Participants have access to thematic competitive tracks, an expert community, and digital services. The project is implemented within the framework of the new national project "Youth and Children" with the support of the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs (Rosmolodezh). In 2025, the project is carried out in four directions. Applications from managers and those shaping the future of the education system are accepted until October 1, until October 12 – from those interested in developing media skills in the context of education, as well as those for whom art, traditions, and Russian values are a unique educational tool. Another direction can be chosen until November 4: an opportunity for those willing to share their experience and those in need of a mentor.

      Currently, a competitive selection is also underway for the expert community "Constellation of Education Leaders" – applications are accepted until August 31. The "Portfolio" stage has already started. Participants prepare video resumes, upload recommendations, and resumes – these are not just documents but personal media portfolios where it is important to reveal one’s professional position, showcase experience, values, and readiness to share knowledge. At this stage, future experts tell about the path they have taken, what inspires them, and what benefits they can bring to the education system.

      Participants of the new season of "Education Leaders" already have access to unique digital services:

      - "Content Library" (a database of best practices, courses, and video materials on education and enlightenment);

      - "Opportunities Catalog" (a collection of programs, competitions, grants, and other resources for development from partners);

      - "Competency Assessment" (diagnostics of professional and personal qualities, allowing to identify strengths and receive individual recommendations).

      "Education Leaders" is a community where people find themselves, their like-minded peers, and a new direction for development. Some come with ready projects, others for inspiration. One thing is important: everyone here can reveal themselves and gain support. We create an environment where contributions to education are valued and growth opportunities are provided. More than 50,000 people have already become part of the project, and this is just the beginning," said Artem Mironov, head of the "Education Leaders" project on the presidential platform "Russia – Land of Opportunities."

      Recall that the national project "Youth and Children" is being implemented at the instruction of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin since 2025. It addresses tasks previously outlined in the "Education" and "Science and Universities" national projects and includes nine federal projects and programs: "Russia – Land of Opportunities," "We Are Together," "Russia in the World," "All the Best for Children," "Leading Schools," "Teachers and Mentors," "Creating a Network of Modern Campuses," "Universities for the Generation of Leaders," and "Professionalism."
