      PoliticsIn Nizhny Novgorod, the nomination of candidates from the regional branch of the Pensioners' Party for the upcoming city council elections has been completed. Party representatives will participate in the election campaign across all 39 single-member districts, reports pravda-nn.ru.

      Deputy Chairman of the Pensioners' Party, Vladimir Vorozhtsov, stated that the party's eighth congress was recently convened, during which an updated program was adopted and a new leadership team was elected. According to him, the party has developed its own ideological platform, which includes proposals on economic development, migration policy issues, and the preservation of historical heritage.

      At the conference in Nizhny Novgorod, candidates to represent the party in the elections were determined. As regional branch chair Tatiana Bogdanova noted, among the nominees are people from various professions and with different levels of education.

      "Our candidates are individuals who have achieved success in their careers, family, and public life. Each of them understands city issues well and is ready to offer specific solutions," emphasized Tatiana Bogdanova.

      Vladimir Vorozhtsov added that participating in all districts is an important step for the regional branch. "Our candidates are people close to the people. They know how Nizhny Novgorod residents live and are capable of effectively influencing the city's development. We are confident that one of them will certainly gain voters' support," he said.

      The event concluded with a charity concert, with proceeds directed to support participants in the special military operation.
