      The Economy Department of the Nizhny Novgorod Region approved the planning and land surveying of the territory for the construction of a duplicate of Lenin Avenue in the regional center, from Sovetskaya Street to the Molitovsky Bridge. This information is available on the Nizhny Novgorod Region Development Strategy website.

      It is noted that the construction of the highway will be carried out in three stages:

      - Stage one — 1.6 km from Internatsionalnaya Street to Molitovsky Bridge.

      - Stage two — 1.85 km with a traffic interchange at Molitovsky Bridge and Komsomolskaya Square.

      - Stage three — 1.4 km from Sovetskaya Street to Internatsionalnaya Street with an exit to the interchange at Sovetskaya Street and Metro Bridge.

      The project is implemented as part of a private concession initiative by LLC "DL Plus," which will handle the design, construction, and operation of the route. The project also involves strengthening the left bank of the Oka River over a 3.4 km stretch between Molitovsky and Kanavinsky Bridges.

      Earlier, the cancellation of the public discussion of the planning and land surveying project for the construction of the duplicate Lenin Avenue from Sovetskaya Street to Molitovsky Bridge, scheduled for July 16, was reported.

      It is recalled that the construction of the duplicate Lenin Avenue is planned to be completed by 2029.
