      Volga-Oka Directorate of the Federal Service for Environmental, Technological, and Nuclear Supervision (Rostrendnagor) completed an unscheduled inspection of LLC "Urbantech Service."

      The inspection was conducted based on media reports about the operation of the Nizhny Novgorod cable car with a faulty door opening and closing mechanism.

      During the inspection, it was established that a responsible person had not passed industrial safety certification, the faulty cabin was not removed from service immediately after the incident, and the cable car operation was not suspended.

      As a result of the inspection, an act was drawn up and a warning was issued with deadlines for correcting the violations. The implementation of the warning is under the Directorate’s control.

      Legal entities and officials involved have been subject to administrative cases under Article 9.1 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation.
