Electric scooter crashes into car at Avtozavod: teen hospitalized

Incidents: In the Автозаводский District of Nizhny Novgorod, a traffic accident occurred involving a teenager on an electric scooter and a car.
According to information provided by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, the incident took place on Otechestvennaya Street, near house №39.
A minor was riding an electric scooter on the roadway and failed to yield the right of way to a JAC vehicle, resulting in a collision.
As a result of the accident, the scooter rider himself—the teenager born in 2009—was injured. He was taken to the regional children's hospital.
Law enforcement agencies are investigating all the circumstances of the incident.
It was previously reported that the authorities of Nizhny Novgorod do not plan to ban electric scooters.
