      Economy In the Nizhny Novgorod Region, the expansion of three sections of the federal highway R-158 "Nizhny Novgorod - Arzamas - Saratov" is planned. Information about this has been posted on the government procurement portal.

      The Federal Custody Agency "Management of the Moscow – Nizhny Novgorod Highway" announced tenders for the preparation of land planning documentation.

      The first section, where repair work will take place, is located between the 176th and 195th kilometers of the highway. The initial contract price is 12,994,856.72 rubles. The project is scheduled to be completed by September 1, 2027.

      The second section is between the 144th and 164th kilometers of the road. The contract price for the preparation of design documentation is 13,684,942.51 rubles. The deadline for completion is August 15, 2027.

      The third section is between the 229th and 249th kilometers. The starting price of the contract is 13,372,249.29 rubles. The work must be completed by August 1, 2027.

      All procurement is funded from the federal budget.

      It was previously reported that the contract with the contractor LLC "DSK," which performed the expansion of the R-158 highway in the Dalnekonstantinovsky district of the Nizhny Novgorod region, was terminated in June. A new tender to find a contractor has not yet been announced.
