A radio operator in the Nizhny Novgorod region was found dead on the Volga bank.

      Incidents: An employee of the Semyonov Linear-Production Management of Main Gas Pipelines, part of LLC "Gazprom Transgaz Nizhny Novgorod," died under unknown circumstances during an official business trip in the Gorodetsky district.

      A team of four people representing the communications service was sent to the area on July 8 to conduct measurements of the backup communication cable. According to the senior of the group, all employees went to sleep in the service vehicle's cabin on the evening of July 9.

      On the morning of July 10 at 06:30, colleagues discovered that one of the workers, an antenna mast operator, was missing. The disappearance was immediately reported to emergency services and the local police department.

      On July 15 at 15:30, the missing worker's mother confirmed that the body previously found on the Volga bank belonged to her son.

      According to Ilya Moshess, head of the Federal Labor Inspectorate for the Nizhny Novgorod region, an investigation into the industrial accident has been initiated. The investigation will determine the exact circumstances of the incident and establish whether there was a connection between the employee's death and his professional activities.

      It was previously reported that the head of the Nizhny Novgorod energy section was found dead at his workplace.
