More than 7,700 Nizhny Novgorod entrepreneurs participated in seminars on the specifics of inspections in the first half of 2025.

      The schedule for such events for the second half of 2025 has been published on the website of the Nizhny Novgorod Ministry of Economic Development. Over 7,700 entrepreneurs from Nizhny Novgorod participated in seminars on inspection specifics in the first half of 2025. The main topics of these meetings include the procedure for conducting remote inspections, sector-specific legal norms and their changes, as well as analysis of mass violations of mandatory requirements. Additionally, regulatory authorities, such as local administrations, ministries, and regional agencies, focus on preventive measures. "In total, approximately 120 seminars, including online ones, were held in the region in the first half of the year. The necessity of such meetings is related, in particular, to changes in the federal control law. For example, starting in 2025, there is the possibility to conduct inspections or preventive visits remotely using the federal mobile application 'Inspector.' Its use is voluntary and free of charge, but it significantly saves time for inspectors. Therefore, if a regulatory body offers to hold an event using this application, we recommend considering this option," said Denis Ismagilov, Minister of Economic Development and Investments of the Nizhny Novgorod Region. Meanwhile, small business entities can schedule a preventive visit and later evaluate its conduct by providing feedback to the regulatory body through their personal account on the 'Gosuslugi' portal. Announcements of events clarifying mandatory legal requirements are published on the websites of regulatory authorities. As previously reported, in 2024, the number of regional and municipal inspections in the Nizhny Novgorod region decreased by 15.7% compared to 2023, while the number of preventive visits increased by 1.3 times. It is also recalled that from 2025, business support activities became part of the national project "Effective and Competitive Economy," implemented by the order of the President of Russia, Vladimir Putin.
