Three people drowned in the Nizhny Novgorod region in a day.

      Incidents: In the Nizhny Novgorod region, three tragic cases on the water have been recorded in the past 24 hours, resulting in fatalities. This was reported by the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations (EMERCOM) for the region.

      The first incident occurred in Voskresensky District, near the village of Galibikha on the Vetluga River. Eyewitnesses noticed a man's body in the water and extracted it onto the shore. The identity of the deceased is still unidentified.

      The second incident was recorded in Nizhny Novgorod on the Embankment of the Rowing Canal. Emergency rescue service (ERS) rescuers retrieved the body of a man born in 1994 from the water.

      Another incident occurred in Nizhny Novgorod on the Parasha River. ERS personnel pulled a man's body from the water. His identity is also being established.

      The causes of death in all three cases are being clarified. Experts remind the public of the importance of following water safety rules.

      Earlier, it was reported that a fisherman got entangled in nets and drowned in the village of Gorodishchi.
