Dzerzhinsk football championship is gaining momentum

      On Friday, July 11, as part of the third round of the open Dzerzhinsk Championship in football among men's teams, "City Team" delivered a crushing defeat to "Caspian Flotilla", sending ten unanswered balls into the net of the debutant. The rout began as early as the 7th minute of the match, with Nikolay Ananyev easily outplaying the "Caspian" goalkeeper. Before halftime, the "team players" forced the opponent to restart from the center twice more. In the second half, the "City Team" took a significant advantage, scoring seven goals. Alexander Holomin demonstrated high scoring efficiency, netting four times. Nikita Fedyakov scored two goals. Andrei Kupcov and Ivan Chernyshev each scored once. The "Caspian" team scored one own goal, with Mansur Karimov playing unsuccessfully. The football team "Caspian Flotilla", created by Daghestani native Iosif Shabanov, is a multinational squad. Besides Daghestani players, it includes athletes from Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, and other southern republics. The debutant has not yet managed to succeed — three defeats at the start of the championship — but there is a clear desire to play, to showcase combination and spectacular football.
