The insane heat in Nizhny Novgorod has broken ten-year temperature records.

      The heat in Nizhny Novgorod set records not seen in 13 years. The air temperature rose well above 30 degrees Celsius. This was reported by senior specialist Olga Mokeeva of the Upper Volga Hydrometeorological Service, as cited by GTRK "Nizhny Novgorod".

      In recent days, the city’s air warmed up to +35°C. Such temperatures were previously recorded only in 1972, 2010, and 2012. Meteorologists forecast that the heat will begin to subside from Sunday onwards. From July 13 to 17, daytime temperatures will range between +25°C and +28°C.

      By the end of next week, more comfortable weather is expected. The temperature will drop to +23°C to +25°C.
