      The State Labor Inspectorate of the Nizhny Novgorod Region has completed the investigation of the tragic incident that occurred on January 15, 2025, at a construction site. As a result of an accident related to loading operations, a 46-year-old installer from LLC "Autoban-Most" died. According to the press service of the agency, the investigation revealed serious violations of safety regulations, which led to administrative penalties against the company and its officials.

      It is recalled that during the loading of a construction trailer using a crane, the installer was pinched between the trailer and the cab of a truck, sustaining multiple injuries to the pelvis area. The injured worker was hospitalized but died on January 21.

      The GIT concluded that the main cause of the accident was the poor organization of the production process. The construction and installation foreman failed to control compliance with safety instructions by the workers.

      An accompanying factor was the violation of labor discipline by the crane operator, who performed loading and unloading operations in the presence of people in the vehicle's cab. The deceased installer also violated safety rules by being in the cab during loading and unloading operations.

      The chief state labor inspector of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, Ilya Moshes, reported that in accordance with the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation, LLC "Autoban-Most" was fined 180,000 rubles, and the company’s official was fined 20,000 rubles.
