      At the Shakhunya Railway Station in the Nizhny Novgorod region, violations of fire safety regulations were discovered. The violators were fined. The inspection was conducted by the Nizhny Novgorod Transport Prosecutor’s Office, reported the press service.

      The station building lacked a clear action plan for employees in case of a fire, and it was not determined who and how should notify people and manage evacuation. Employees had not undergone necessary fire safety training, and personal protective equipment was not checked.

      After the inspection, the station management took measures to correct the violations. The manager responsible for these errors was fined 20,000 rubles under the article for violation of fire safety requirements.
