The Sarov City Court has rendered a verdict against an official of one of the defense-industrial complex enterprises in the region, accused of embezzling budget funds. This was reported by the press service of the FSB for the Nizhny Novgorod region.
During joint efforts by the FSB of Russia in Nizhny Novgorod and the regional prosecutor's office, it was established that the accused, acting intentionally and from selfish motives, abused his position and, through deception, stole funds from the enterprise.
A criminal case was initiated by the Investigative Directorate of the Russian Investigative Committee for the Nizhny Novgorod region.
By court decision, the accused was sentenced to two years of probation with a two-year probation period.
The court's verdict has already entered into legal force.
