The development of the master plan for the IT quarter in Nizhny Novgorod is nearing completion.

Currently, the master plan of the project is being finalized. This was announced by Ivan Kargin, Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, during a briefing attended by a reporter from NIA "Nizhny Novgorod". According to him, the regional headquarters plans to approve the financial and economic model soon, after which the project will be implemented through bidding. "The IT quarter is a landmark location, which has had several approaches. Now we have decided on the direction: it will be non-residential development with the placement of an IT cluster. The potential of this project is enormous," Kargin said. He emphasized that the proximity of the IT quarter to the future "Neymark" IT campus creates a synergistic effect capable of attracting both students and employers. It is already known that over 75% of the planned areas will find tenants and users. The total area of development will exceed 200,000 square meters. About 130,000 square meters will be occupied by a technopark — a key element of the future IT infrastructure. The deputy governor also announced that an agreement has already been signed with ER-Telecom Holding company. They expressed interest in participating in the project and will become one of the anchor partners in creating the technopark. "We are confident that this location will generate significant interest among developers specializing in such projects. It has everything to become a magnet for the IT business and young specialists," Kargin added. It was previously reported that a business quarter is planned to be built on Malaya Yamskaya Street in Nizhny Novgorod by the end of 2028.
