"Heroes. Nizhny Novgorod Region" is a very important program to which each participant takes the utmost seriousness," stated veteran of the Special Military Operation (SMO), participant of the program Ravil Ravilov.
Ravil Ravilov works as the head of security at a major construction company and raises three children. He decided to join the program to enhance the valuable experience gained during his service in the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation and to contribute to the region's development. His wife supported his decision.
During the training, the SMO veteran aims to develop management skills and improve teamwork abilities.
"Right now, the Nizhny Novgorod Region is actively gaining momentum in tourism. We have many beautiful places, and I am confident that my knowledge would be useful in addressing the development of the tourism industry," shared Ravil Ravilov.
According to him, the participants have formed a strong, friendly team, where it is pleasant to undergo training and accomplish set tasks.
"All are worthy, strong-minded people. I look forward to starting the training as soon as possible," concluded the SMO veteran.
It is worth reminding that on April 2, the governor of Nizhny Novgorod Gleb Nikitin presented the RANEPA rector Alexey Komissarov with the results of registration for the "Heroes. Nizhny Novgorod Region" program. The program is aimed at integrating and employing participants and veterans of the special military operation within the system of state administration. In March, an agreement was signed between the government of Nizhny Novgorod Region, RANEPA, and KUPNO on cooperation for implementing this program.
The registration for participation in the "Heroes. Nizhny Novgorod Region" program concluded on March 31. The registration results were summarized at a meeting of the program's public council, chaired by Deputy Governor of Nizhny Novgorod Gleb Gneushev. During the selection process, 1,613 applications were received from residents of Nizhny Novgorod. Of these, 60 percent of registrants had participated in hostilities and were in the zone of the SMO. The remaining 40% had completed their service in the Russian Armed Forces; from these, the finalists of the program were selected.
The next stage of the program selection involved remote testing of participants on the platform of ANO "Russia — Land of Opportunities." Based on the test results and questionnaire assessments, the public council of the "Heroes. Nizhny Novgorod Region" program selected 239 individuals in May, who demonstrated high results and were allowed to proceed to the next stage — online interviews. For those not selected for the main educational program, it was decided to launch a remote educational course that would provide the necessary knowledge and skills for further professional development in civilian life. Currently, 62 people are enrolled in this course.
Based on the total scores from the questionnaires, testing, and online interviews, as well as face-to-face interviews with Deputy Governor Gleb Gneushev, 60 participants were selected for the main educational program, and 30 individuals for inclusion in the next cohort of the program upon their return to the region.
