In Nizhny Novgorod, the ninth festival of new Russian cinema "Gorky Fest" (18+) has started. The opening ceremony took place on July 10 at the Gorky Drama Theater, as tradition, attended by both renowned and emerging filmmakers.
In 2025, on the red carpet, appeared Denis Shvedov, Ekaterina Klimova, Alexei German Jr., Alexei Rozin, Ksenia Surkova, Anna Nevskaya, Olga Filippova, Lyan Gryu, and many others. Initially, guests eagerly posed for photographers, then approached viewers to sign autographs.
The hosts of the opening ceremony of "Gorky Fest – 2025" were aspiring actress Polina Gukhman and "Slovo Patsana" (18+) star Nikita Kologrivyi. More about the event can be read here.
