On September 6, the "Record" Culture Center will host the educational forum "Nizhny Novgorod - Capital of Design Russia 2026". The main goal of the event is to showcase the opportunities and achievements of the Nizhny Novgorod design scene, discuss the development of the region's creative industries, and help emerging professionals build their career trajectories. The program will combine discussions and meetings with leading industry experts. Among the speakers are Olga Parle, Sergey Frolov, Sergey Tumanyin, Nelly Kruk, Dmitry Rekin, Elena Roitenberg, Alexander Kazarin, and other representatives of the professional community. The visual concept of the forum is built around the image of the "Golden Capital". Its authors are students of the HSE Design School Taras Balabaev, Ilya Lang, and Boris Zhuravlyov. The identity is based on the image of a golden disk, which combines associations with the value of design, famous Nizhny Novgorod sunsets, and urban visual codes. The forum will continue its work on developing the professional community and strengthening ties between education, business, culture, and the urban environment, creating opportunities for experience exchange and the emergence of new projects in the field of design. The organizers are the Union of Designers of Russia and the HSE Design School - Nizhny Novgorod, with the support of the Ministry of Culture of the Nizhny Novgorod Region.
