      On August 22, 2026, at 15:16, Incidents: An accident occurred in the Nizhny Novgorod region. According to the regional Ministry of Emergency Situations, in the village of Burtsovo in the Bogorodsky district, during the construction of a cesspool on the territory of a private property, the ground collapsed. As a result of the incident, a 45-year-old man died. Fire departments were on site, assisting the administration in eliminating the consequences of the ground collapse. It was previously reported that one person died in a fire following the depressurization of a tank from a sewage truck in the Kstovo settlement.
