Nizhny Novgorod buses will change routes on August 22 and 23.

      On August 20, 2026, at 15:17 Society In Nizhny Novgorod, on August 22 and 23, some public transport routes will be changed. This was reported by the city administration. The adjustments are related to mass traffic restrictions in the city center due to the Ironstar (18+) triathlon competitions. The city hall reported that buses No. 3, 19, 45, 61, 70, 71, 90, 95, 180, and 242 will run in both directions along Ivan Romanov Street, the metro bridge, and the streets of Odessa, Gorky, Ilyinskaya, Dobrolyubova, and Zelensky descent. The route of bus No. 5 will be shortened: it will run from Delovaya Street to the stop "Holy Well." Bus No. 7 will be directed in both directions along Marata, Soviet streets with a turn to Lenin Square, Sovnarkomovskaya, Murashkinskaya, Dolzhanskaya, and Samarkand streets. Bus No. 13 will operate along Marata and Soviet streets with a turn to Lenin Square, then along Ivan Romanov Street, the metro bridge, and the streets of Odessa, Gorky, Ilyinskaya, Dobrolyubova, and Zelensky descent in both directions. For route No. 18, a traffic scheme is provided along Dolzhanskaya, Murashkinskaya, Sovnarkomovskaya, Soviet, Ivan Romanov, the metro bridge, Odessa, and Gorky streets in both directions. Buses No. 22, 41, 78, and 94 will go in both directions along Ivan Romanov Street, the metro bridge, and the streets of Odessa and Gorky. Routes No. 24, 74, and 160 will be organized along Dolzhanskaya, Murashkinskaya, Sovnarkomovskaya, Soviet, Ivan Romanov, the metro bridge, Odessa, Gorky, Ilyinskaya, Dobrolyubova, and Zelensky descent in both directions. Buses No. 26, 43, and 130 will follow along Marata and Soviet streets with a turn to Lenin Square, then along Ivan Romanov Street, the metro bridge, and the streets of Odessa and Gorky in both directions. Route No. 150 will run in both directions along Zelensky descent, Dobrolyubova, Ilyinskaya, and Gorky streets. Stops will also be introduced along the route at the locations of existing stops. Bus No. 87 will temporarily run only to Lenin Square. Routes No. 91 and 190 will be shortened to the stop "Minin and Pozharsky Square."
