"Meteors" will connect Nizhny Novgorod with Tver and Dubna.
On August 18, 2026, at 16:09, the company "Vodoley" will launch two new interregional flights on "Meteor 120R" hydrofoil vessels to Tver and Dubna through Yaroslavl in August and September. This was reported by the company.
The route will include cities that were included in the national tourist route "Golden Ring of Russia" in 2026.
The first flight will start on August 24: on this day, the "Meteor" will depart from Nizhny Novgorod to Yaroslavl with stops in Chkalovsk, Sokolsky, Yurevets, Kineshma, and Kostroma. The next day, August 25, the vessel will continue to Tver, making stops in Rybinsk, Myshkin, Uglich, Kalazin, and Dubna.
The return journey will begin on August 26: the "Meteor" will depart from Tver to Yaroslavl, and on August 27 from Yaroslavl to Nizhny Novgorod.
The second flight is scheduled for early autumn. On September 5, the vessel will leave Nizhny Novgorod for Yaroslavl, and on September 6, it will continue to Dubna. The stops along the route will remain the same. The "Meteor" will return on September 7 from Dubna to Yaroslavl, and on September 8, it will return to Nizhny Novgorod.
The company clarified that the route has been divided into several sections, as hydrofoil vessels are prohibited from operating during nighttime.
Additionally, the company made its first flight to Tver and back at the end of August - beginning of September 2025. It turned out to be very popular among passengers. Later, the company reported that it would consider the possibility of making it regular.
