A hot air balloon was launched in Cappadocia to celebrate the 805th anniversary of Nizhny Novgorod.

In honor of the City Day, Zen launched hot air balloons in Nizhny Novgorod and Turkish Cappadocia—one of the most famous places in the world for hot air balloon flights. Thus, the platform congratulated Nizhny Novgorod on its 805th anniversary. The launch became part of a joint project between Zen and the Nizhny Novgorod region. On the balloon that rose above Cappadocia, there was the slogan "Cooler than the Turkish sunrise—only the Nizhny Novgorod sunset." This played on the brand "Capital of Sunsets." At the same time, a second balloon rose above Nizhny Novgorod. The launch symbolically connected two points on the tourist map. "With this launch, we wanted to congratulate Nizhny Novgorod in an unusual way and show that you don't have to travel far for bright impressions. Turkish sunrises have long been associated with flights over Cappadocia, and Nizhny Novgorod rightfully earns the title of 'Capital of Sunsets.' By simultaneously launching hot air balloons in two countries, we connected these images and invited the audience to discover Nizhny Novgorod and the entire region from a new perspective in the 'Land of Creators' project on Zen," noted Sergey Tabolin, the marketing and communications director of Zen. The launch became part of the "Land of Creators" project dedicated to travel, local culture, and tourism opportunities in the Nizhny Novgorod region. Earlier, Zen published guides to seven cities in the region and launched a video show about the people, traditions, and cultural features of the Nizhny Novgorod region. The project is being implemented under a cooperation agreement between Zen and the government of the Nizhny Novgorod region aimed at promoting cultural life and the tourist appeal of the region.
