This was reported to NIA "Nizhny Novgorod" by the regional ministry of urban development. As explained by the department, the master plan for the quarter is currently being refined. The dates for the auction, the starting price, and the project implementation period will be determined after the revised document is approved by the regional headquarters for urban planning policy. A decision on the comprehensive development of the area will also need to be approved. It was previously reported that the parameters of the KRT project for this area were approved in August 2025. About 11 hectares are planned for development within the boundaries of Bolshaya Pecherskaya, Sechenova, Turgeneva, Maxim Gorky, Boynovsky Lane, and Kovalikhin Ravine streets. The architectural dominant of the future quarter is expected to be a 150-meter skyscraper with access to the prospective "Sennaya" metro station. The area includes two plots: one is located closer to Bolshaya Pecherskaya Street, and the other is in the area of Kovalikhin and Krovrovskaya Streets. Initially, the first plot of 2.93 hectares was planned to be auctioned in the first quarter of 2026. Later, the authorities decided to sell the site as a single lot, which is why the auction dates were postponed. Recently, it was also mentioned that the auction could take place as early as autumn.
