More than 4,300 housing and utility facilities have been updated in Russia with the support of the FRT.

This was reported by the Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian government, Chairman of the Fund's Supervisory Board Marat Khusnullin. The modernization affected boiler houses, treatment facilities, water supply stations, and other municipal infrastructure facilities. Since 2022, 800 facilities and 830 km of networks have been updated in the reunited regions. According to Khusnullin, the modernization of municipal infrastructure remains one of the priority areas of work for the FRT and the country's construction complex. "Together, we are addressing a wide range of tasks to create comfortable living conditions for people within the framework of the national project 'Infrastructure for Life'," noted the Deputy Prime Minister. As reported by the General Director of the FRT, Vasily Kupyzin, work is being carried out using several support mechanisms. Under the housing and communal services modernization programs, with the involvement of preferential loans and federal budget funds, about 2,900 facilities and more than 4,700 km of networks have been introduced. Another 644 facilities were modernized with the help of infrastructure loans. In addition, since 2019, more than 16.5 million square meters of emergency housing have been resettled in Russia, the rights of 262,000 deceived equity holders have been restored, and over a thousand infrastructure facilities have been completed. In the first half of 2026, major repairs were carried out in approximately 8,500 apartment buildings, and more than 5,300 elevators were also replaced. It is worth noting that in Nizhny Novgorod, with the support of the Territorial Development Fund, the Nagornaya heat power plant was modernized. In 2026, the reconstruction of two boilers was completed without stopping the heat supply. The major repair of boiler No. 2 took place a year earlier.
