This data was published in the summary of the budget revenue execution on the "Open Budget" portal. Since the beginning of 2026, the city treasury has received 83.9 million rubles against a planned 200 million (by the end of the year). A month earlier, the figures were significantly lower. At that time, the plan execution was 15.7%, and the amount of receipts was 31.4 million rubles. The city hall explained then that the tax period for this payment, according to the Tax Code of the Russian Federation, is a quarter. It must be paid no later than the 28th of the month following the reporting quarter. For this reason, the revenues from the tourist tax for the second quarter were not reflected in the budget execution data for the first half of the year. Recall that the decision to introduce the tourist tax was made by the city duma deputies at the end of 2025. The collection began on January 1, 2026, with a rate set at 2%.
