More than 2.6 billion rubles will be allocated for the terraced park in the Pochainsky ravine.

      On August 10, 2026, at 10:49, Economy: More than 2.6 billion rubles will be allocated in 2026 for the creation of a terraced park in the Pochainsky ravine in Nizhny Novgorod. This amount is specified in the targeted investment list of municipal property objects for the city for 2026 and the planned period of 2027-2028.

      For the reconstruction of the stormwater drainage collector and slope stabilization, 2.637 billion rubles will be allocated from the regional budget and 29.3 million rubles from the city budget. An additional 100 million rubles has been earmarked for the construction of a tunnel as an auxiliary structure in the area of house No. 1A on Architect Kharitonov Street.

      Earlier, in March 2026, an additional 1.1 billion rubles was allocated for the reconstruction of the collector and slope stabilization.

      Recall that the contract for construction was signed in October 2022. The project involves the creation of a multi-level public space in the Pochainsky ravine with an amphitheater, recreation areas, and a skate park, as well as bicycle and pedestrian routes. Observation decks and water features are planned.

      Initially, the work was scheduled to be completed by the end of 2025; however, the deadlines have been shifted - now the completion of construction is scheduled for November 2026.

      Work was previously temporarily suspended due to the need to agree on an additional agreement to municipal contract No. 68, which provides for changes to essential conditions.

      As of the end of June, the technical readiness of the facility was 65%. And at the beginning of July, the construction of a new pedestrian bridge began in the Pochainsky ravine.
