However, residents claim that the necessary measures have still not been implemented. Earlier, investigators had already initiated a criminal case regarding this situation, but the supervisory authority later canceled the procedural decision made. Now, the regional Investigative Committee has reopened the criminal case to protect the rights of residents through criminal law methods. Bastrykin instructed the acting head of the Investigative Committee for the Nizhny Novgorod region, Alexander Dynkov, to present a report on the progress of the investigation, its results, and measures to ensure the safety of citizens. The execution of the instruction has been put under control at the central office of the Investigative Committee.
