      A man became a victim of fraud. A 44-year-old local resident, who fell victim to deception, reported to the duty unit of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia "Arzamassky". This was reported by the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Nizhny Novgorod region. It is known that the man found a website offering intimate services and called the specified phone number. An unknown person, introducing himself as a manager, offered the corresponding services and then convinced the client to transfer 255,000 rubles to several numbers for the payment of a preliminary reservation. All transfers were made by the unfortunate lover through online banking from his savings account. As soon as the money arrived, the "manager" stopped communicating, and the promised "date" did not take place. A criminal case has been initiated. Suspects are being sought, facing up to six years in prison. "Police recommend that citizens be more vigilant and pay close attention to online transactions. Law enforcement advises against making payments for any services on the internet if prepayment is required," the statement said.
