      August 8, 2026 15:02 Incidents A 44-year-old resident of Arzamas became a victim of fraudsters after attempting to use intimate services. After losing more than 250,000 rubles, the man contacted the police. This was reported by the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Nizhny Novgorod region. According to the victim, he found a website on the internet offering intimate services. By calling the provided number, he got in touch with a "manager" who convinced him to transfer money to several accounts to confirm the seriousness of his intentions and to book the service. The man transferred 255,000 rubles through online banking and began waiting for the "order" to be fulfilled. However, after receiving the money, the "manager" stopped responding. Realizing that he had become a victim of scammers, the man contacted the police. A criminal case has been initiated.
