More than 40 students with a perfect score on the Unified State Exam have enrolled at Lobachevsky State University of Nizhny Novgorod.

      The most popular fields are: "Fundamental Informatics and Information Technology," "Applied Informatics," "Applied Mathematics and Informatics," "Human Resource Management," "Economics," "Software Engineering," "Jurisprudence," "Management," "Information Systems and Technologies," "Public and Municipal Administration." Those with perfect scores chose philology and IT specialties.

      The average passing score increased to 79.5, which is 4 points higher than last year. A significant increase in passing scores was noted in the fields of "Document Management and Archival Studies" (+70 points), "Physics" (+62 points), "Nanotechnology and Microsystem Engineering" (+61 points), "Fundamental and Applied Chemistry" (+57 points), "Medical Biophysics" (+57 points), "Social Work" (+56 points).

      Rector Oleg Trofimov noted the growing interest in fundamental education, high motivation levels among applicants, and their orientation towards sciences that shape the technological sovereignty of the country.

      It is worth noting that after the completion of the main stage of the admission campaign, almost all universities in the region closed enrollment for budget places in bachelor's and specialist programs. According to preliminary data, 9675 students have already been enrolled in bachelor's and specialist programs of all forms of education, of which 8.7 thousand are in full-time education.
