Nizhny Novgorod craftsmen are invited to the competition "Voice of Traditions"

      On September 13, an interregional festival "Voice of Traditions" will take place in the village of Khirino, Shatkovsky District, Nizhny Novgorod Region, dedicated to the 443rd anniversary of the village. This was reported by the Ministry of Tourism and Crafts of the Nizhny Novgorod Region. As part of the festival, applications are being accepted for a competition among masters of arts and crafts, producers of agricultural products, and performers of folk art. The organizers annually award the best participants with monetary grants to develop their businesses. In 2026, the competition will be held in three nominations: "Craftsmen," "Production of Agricultural Products," and "Folk Performers." Applications can be submitted by individual masters, family farms, folklore groups, and solo performers. The application period will last until August 23 inclusive. As reported by the Ministry of Tourism and Crafts of the region, a large fair will be held in Khirino on the day of the festival. Here, participants will showcase their products, and folk performers will perform on stage in front of the festival guests. Participation in the festival is an opportunity to win a grant and a chance to find new buyers, clients, and creative partners. The organization of such events aligns with the objectives of the national project "Tourism and Hospitality." It is worth noting that the national project "Tourism and Hospitality," initiated by Russian President Vladimir Putin, aims to develop tourist infrastructure, train personnel, promote travel across the country, and improve service quality. Five federal projects are being implemented within its framework.
