More than 30 potential recipients of the social contract have completed training at the Nizhny Novgorod center "My Business."

      On August 6, 2026, at 15:23, Economy31, a potential recipient of a social contract completed courses on the basics of entrepreneurship in the first half of 2026. Training has been conducted in the Nizhny Novgorod region for the third year to prepare citizens with low income levels to start their own businesses. The implementation of the program is provided by the regional center "My Business," which operates within the framework of the federal project "Small and Medium Entrepreneurship" of the national project "Effective and Competitive Economy."

      The social contract in the region allows for up to 350,000 rubles to be obtained for starting and conducting entrepreneurial activities.

      According to the Minister of Industry, Trade, and Entrepreneurship of the Nizhny Novgorod region, Maxim Cherkasov, experts from the "My Business" center assist applicants at all stages of the social contract application process, providing consultations on how to prepare applications and business plans.

      "All candidates for the social contract must undergo a check of their entrepreneurial competencies in the format of testing on the MSP.RF platform. Those who are unable to pass the test successfully on the first attempt are offered free online training by the regional center 'My Business,' after which they can retake the test. During the course, residents of Nizhny Novgorod receive basic knowledge about the legal and regulatory aspects of doing business, accounting, and taxation," Maxim Cherkasov said.

      Upon completion of the program, the applicant receives a certificate of training, which they subsequently present to social protection authorities along with a complete set of documents.

      To enroll in the course, it is necessary to obtain a referral from the social protection agency and submit an application for training on the MSP.RF platform. Within three working days, the "My Business" center will provide access to an online course consisting of nine modules. The program concludes with a final test.

      To conclude a social contract, one must contact the social protection office at their place of residence or submit an application through the "Gosuslugi" portal. This support measure is intended for low-income citizens with an income below the subsistence minimum in the region. The decision is made by a commission, with priority given to applicants with successful business experience, large families, and families of SVO participants.
