The harvest has started in Nizhny Novgorod.

      The harvesting campaign has begun in the territory of Nizhny Novgorod, reported the city head Yuri Shalabaev on his Max channel. On the first day of work, according to the mayor, three farms went out to the fields, and the others will join them soon. This year, nearly 11,500 hectares are to be harvested, including more than 6,000 hectares of winter wheat. Specialists will also collect barley, oats, peas, and corn. Shalabaev assured that all necessary areas and capacities for the reception, processing, and storage of agricultural products are available in Nizhny Novgorod. "We continue to monitor the progress of the harvest! I wish our combine operators, drivers, and mechanics good weather, reliable equipment, and record yields! May they have plenty of work in this regard, and we have quality and affordable agricultural products," the city head summarized.
