Nizhny Novgorod city council approved the appearance of the high-rise building in Karavaikha.

      On August 4, 2026, at 12:19, the Regional City Administration approved the architectural and urban planning appearance of apartment building No. 1-B according to the general plan in the Karavaikha microdistrict. The order was published on the agency's website.

      This concerns the construction in the southwestern part of the territory. The project is being implemented by LLC "Specialized Developer 'ATLANT'," which is part of the GK "Karkas Monolit."

      The project provides for the construction of a multi-story building with public purpose premises and an underground parking lot on Gagarin Avenue (land plot 124). The total area of the building will exceed 22,700 sq. m. Of this, nearly 17,700 "squares" will be allocated to the above-ground part and about 5,000 to the underground. The building is designed with variable floors—14 and 18 stories.

      The area of the plot is 3,374 sq. m, while the construction will occupy 2,836.62 sq. m.

      Additionally, it should be noted that in December 2025, the city administration already conducted approval of the building's exterior appearance. However, at that time, the parameters of the building were different. It was indicated that its area would be 24,900 sq. m. In January 2026, the regional construction ministry issued a construction permit, and in May, the project received a positive conclusion from the expert examination.
