      Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia Alexander Bastrikin instructed to present a report on the investigation of the criminal case initiated due to the death of a woman after eye surgery at one of the private clinics in Nizhny Novgorod. This was reported by the Investigative Committee of Russia.

      According to the agency, a story was aired on a regional television channel, which discussed cases of poor quality medical services in one of the private clinics in the capital of the Volga region. One such case is related to the death of a resident of Arzamas. The patient was referred to a private clinic where the surgery was performed, after which she died. She was admitted there from a state medical institution.
