A five-year-old girl was accidentally found in the Nizhny Novgorod region.

      On August 4, 2026, at 11:09 AM, Society A trip for berries for the search team PSO "Volunteer" unexpectedly turned into a real rescue operation. Volunteer Vladimir reported on what happened. On the way home near the forest between Gorodishchi and Kerzhents, the group noticed a little girl on the roadside. According to the volunteer, the nearest village was about a kilometer away. The girl was holding toys, looked confused, and was scared of the approaching car. Stopping, the participants of the trip talked to the child. It turned out that the girl was five years old. She was able to roughly describe the car she arrived in with her parents to her grandmother's house. Then the volunteers remembered that they had seen a similar car on the road to the forest in the morning. Among those in the vehicle were people with experience in searching for missing persons. They decided to first drive to the nearest village, where there was mobile reception, and then start looking for the girl's parents. However, the search ended almost immediately. At the entrance to the village, two women ran towards the car. According to Vladimir, it was clear that they were looking for this child. The girl was immediately handed over to her mother. "It was a non-eventful resonance, and the volunteers understand what I mean," the volunteer wrote on PSO's social media.
