The park renovation project won the All-Russian competition for the improvement of small towns and historical settlements, which is held as part of the national project "Infrastructure for Life." The work was funded by federal financing with the participation of local and regional budgets, as well as Navashino enterprises.

      The park's entrance group has been updated, and areas for quiet relaxation and sports activities have been arranged. In addition to the stage with an audience hall, an art object in the form of a lighthouse has been installed. Earlier, under the project "Formation of a Comfortable Urban Environment," pathways were improved, street lighting was installed, and new play complexes for children of different ages were set up.

      "In fact, the renovation of our park began even earlier, and the initiators of the changes were the residents themselves. The townspeople participated in a large cleanup of the park: together with municipal services, residents removed trash here, and then for several years in a row voted on the stages of the park's improvement under the project 'Formation of a Comfortable Urban Environment.' This year we are completing this large project, and the updated park has become a gift for all residents of Navashino, from young to old," said Tatiana Berseneva, head of the local government of the Navashino urban district in the Nizhny Novgorod region.

      The national project "Infrastructure for Life" was initiated by the President of Russia, Vladimir Putin. Its goal is to provide citizens with socially significant infrastructure of a new quality. The project includes 11 federal areas, including tasks previously outlined in the national projects "Housing and Urban Environment," "Safe Quality Roads," and state programs of the Russian Federation. They are aimed at the development of road construction, housing and communal services, ensuring road traffic safety, and developing public passenger transport.
