Volunteers of Victory announced the collection of humanitarian aid for the residents of the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson regions.

      The Nizhny Novgorod regional branch of the All-Russian public movement "Volunteers of Victory" has announced a collection of humanitarian aid for the peaceful residents of the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson regions. As a result of shelling by the Armed Forces of Ukraine, energy infrastructure and water supply systems have been damaged in a number of settlements. Many residents are left without stable electricity supply and access to water. Elderly people, families with children, people with disabilities, and residents of social institutions are in particular need of support. To provide assistance, a collection of humanitarian aid is being conducted in the Nizhny Novgorod region. Currently, drinking water, long-lasting food products, personal hygiene items, autonomous sources of light and power, as well as other essential items are especially in demand. "When people find themselves in a difficult life situation, the Volunteers of Victory do everything to ensure that those in need of help do not remain alone with their troubles. Today, each of us can make a contribution to helping the residents of the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson regions. Even small support is of great importance. I urge the residents of Nizhny Novgorod to join the collection of humanitarian aid and show our traditional mutual assistance and compassion," noted the head of the Nizhny Novgorod regional branch of the All-Russian public movement "Volunteers of Victory," Maria Samodelkina.
