More than 300 fare evaders were caught on Nizhny Novgorod buses in July.

      July 31, 2026 1:15 PM Society In July, specialists from the Transport Systems Development Center identified 375 cases of violations of fare payment rules in public transport. This was reported by the press service of the CRTS. Thus, over the month, 335 protocols were drawn up for fare evasion. Another 40 passengers were held accountable for using someone else's discounted transport cards. Some violators have already paid their fines. Currently, 197 rulings have been paid, totaling over 200,000 rubles. Earlier, the Nizhny Novgorod region planned to significantly increase fines for fare evasion in public transport.
